Haiku My Heart Friday: Studying

Almost forgot about Haiku My Heart Friday because I've spent most of today studying for my certification exam. The teacher said "Study the Red Book." All 550 pages of it. Sigh...

Studying All Day
Dreaming about the future
Wishing I could play

For more Haiku My Heart poetry, go to recuerda mi corazon, and then join in the fun. Write your own Haiku and link to Rebecca's blog. There's some lovely writing over there, and it's a great way to flex your creative muscles.

That is okay. You are being a good student. I am supposed to be writing a thesis, but I work all day so instead of doing that, I write haiku at night out of exhaustion. I finished my coursework but for some reason cannot get through that thesis! Good luck to you!

Good luck with your exam.
Make sure you find time to play where ever you can, just like you did today. That is the sweet stuff of life.
Happy Weekend !

Thought I'd stop by as I hadn't seen your name before. Seems like we have much in common. I authored and taught a program in the Minnesota State Technical College curriculum for people with varying degrees of ability way back in the 1980's. I also use Northern California as a playground. I hang out in Humboldt County and do a lot of motorcycle riding there throughout the year. I know Ukiah well.
Your Haiku is a sweet ditty. You lament about not being able tomplay, yet you play by just writing the haiku, but I think you knew that. Clever and a creative way to give yourself a break from the grind.
Good luck with the classes.
Now, to try and check out some of the offered writings, of which there are many, on your site. Thanks for visiting mine and voicing a comment.

Peace.
