This is gonna slow me down!

Ever tried writing without a thumb? Tricky!

The worst part is I don't remember hurting it. I have a terrible feeling it's related to my ongoing problem with tendinitis in that thumb, but it's never been this bad. My thumb is swollen and throbs from my nail to my palm. I've tried resting it but it's a little hard to do with my daughter who sometimes uses my thumb as a handle to support herself with (not my idea, but it seems to be the easiest thing to grab when she's falling).

I'm taking this as a sign that I should read more and write less. I've got a stack of books and many blogs I've been wanting to read, so it's the perfect time to do so. Got a good blog I'd enjoy?  Leave a comment and let me know.

Well, I'm glad you found my blog! I wish you a speedy recovery.

Thought Catalog is a great blog too, if you're looking for good writing by various authors.

the body is unpredictable and so complex that it's impossible to completley understand. i always feel this leaves some wiggle room for miraculous cures to our aches and paines. best of luck with yours, i've had my share and sometimes when you think its something youll live with for the rest of your life, itjust goes away one day.them thumbs is important, i hope your pain goes away soon :)

Need a blog recommendation, eh? Why not try mine? :)

I go through periods of intense typing-related pain myself. Not much I can do but adjust my posture, wear a strap, pop an Advil and hope for the best. Good luck!
